I remember Michael. He passed away when I was about 12, and I still remember how heartbroken the family was, including me. He was a brilliant young man who would have gone far. One detail I vividly remember is of Michael's room, where he had a collection of (real) stuffed alligators and crocodiles. He allowed me to handle them which was very kind of him as I was something of a nightmare as a child.
